Can Your Blog Write Itself? |
|
Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
But with just a bit of assistance from you, a new blogging tool from Zemanta.com can give you a real boost in content creation and finding focused content resources. Your blog may not write itself, but gathering and filtering information for your posts will be a lot easier. With just a few clicks, you'll really be able to spice it up everytime you write.
First, you have to compose your blog on Firefox. The developer is currently working on an Internet Explorer version, but it's not ready yet. Of course, once your blog is posted, it can be viewed in full function on any browser.
Your Wordpress or Blogger or Typepad text editor will suggest:- Images - suggestions are based on your text compared to titles, descriptions, and articles connected to images found in Wickimedia Commons, Flickr, Shutterstock, Fotolia, and other resources which will be added over time.
- Tags.
- Related articles & content - Taken from 300 top media resources and many user blogs.
Zemanta reads your content and gives you some options. Examples:- Start writing your post. Zemanta sees what you are writing and adds a couple of pertinent links. You can decide to keep them in your article or not.
- Zemanta links keywords to related articles found on its resource sites.
All content is copyright cleared, which means it's either licensed at Creative Commons or approved for wide use by the providers. Tips to getting the best image, tag & content suggestions from Zemanta:- Spellcheck every word of your article.
- Grammar-check every sentence.
- Keep your article focused - don't go off in lots of directions.
Zemanta is also currently testing: - An Internet Explorer version.
- An application for content-management websites.
Download the Zemanta demo . It works with Firefox and TypePad, Wordpress and Blogger. It’s still a work in progress, so you can expect to find a glitch here and there.
